BE RESPECTFUL

• Take hats/hoods off when entering the school building
• Wear pants at your waist 

• Appreciate the environment that you are in 
• Use your manners and dress appropriately

BE RESPONSIBLE

Follow School and classroom rules

• walk through hallways escorted by staff
• respect bulletin boards

• observe time limits 
• wash hands 
• flush after use

• Be patient and wait your turn 
• Stay in designated area
• Dress appropriately for PE class

• Throw away your tray when you are done
• Report spills to teachers

• Report any bus problems to an adult
• Listen for your  bus to be called/ Metro Card announcement
• Turn off and put away all electronics and devices 
• Arrive on time

• Stay with your assigned class 
• Keep track of your personal belongings
• Stay alert for teacher directives 

BE SAFE

Follow adult directions; hands and feet to self

• use the correct doors to enter and exit
• hold onto stairway railing 
• walk on the right side

• Notify an adult if you need to use the bathroom
• Report problems to an adult

• Play by the rules of the game
• Report problems to staff 

• Walk slowly and safely
• Stay seated at your assigned table 

• Stay seated until your bus is called 
• Students must wait for escort to busing 

• Be aware of your environment/surroundings 
• Always keep a teacher/paraprofessional in sight
